De Boer to showcase its structures at International Confex
De Boer is set to wow visitors and fellow exhibitors when it showcases its versatile structures at this year's International Confex event.
As one of the leading international suppliers of temporary structures, De Boer knows how to impress. And it is certain to win praise for its distinctive hexagonal Acropolis Pavilion which will be used for Confex 2010's London Bar - the show's central bar area. The striking Acropolis structure, with its unique shape, peaked roof and decorative columns, will be a focal point of the three-day event at Earls Court, London in February. Measuring 12 metres across with a capacity of 97 square metres and located at the heart of the exhibition, De Boer's Acropolis will be where visitors and exhibitors make a beeline to meet, network and relax over a few drinks. De Boer is also supplying six of its chalet structures, measuring 16 square metres, in the 'Great Outdoor' section where it will team up with four partners - Dutch furniture hire and flooring specialists Decorum, UK's premier event caterers Amadeus, signing and graphics company Icon and PKL (Portable Kitchens Ltd) - to provide a one-stop-shop for Confex visitors. John Cochrane, De Boer's Sales Director - Events, said: "This is the first time we have exhibited in seven years and we are really looking forward to it. We wanted to show our support to Confex organisers UBM (United Business Media) as well as showcase De Boer's innovative designs and expertise in providing temporary accommodation for events and festivals, no matter how big or small. And as the premier show for exhibitors, Confex is the perfect vehicle for De Boer to kick off a challenging new decade." Duncan Reid, Portfolio Director for Confex Group, said: "We have had a good relationship with De Boer for many years and its Acropolis structure for the London Bar is going to be a focal point for people who want to network, have a drink or just sit down for a few minutes. " We see outdoor events and exhibitions as a growth sector in the future and something we will be concentrating on. With De Boer's reputation as one of the leading companies in this sector we were happy to have them supply the structure for the London Bar at this year's event." International Confex, the UK's leading exhibition for event organisers, attracts over 10,000 visitors over three days. This year's event will be staged at London's Earls Court from February 23-25.
