Thorns sparkles at awards ceremonyThorns Group shined at this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards as the company ensured our sporting heroes were sitting comfortably. As the public tuned in to watch the live telecast from Sheffield Arena and see footballer Ryan Giggs crowned the winner, Thorns was on hand to provide a wide range of equipment to the ceremony. The Lifetime Achievement award went to golfer Seve Ballesteros and the Overseas Sports Personality of the Year accolade was awarded to Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. The England cricket team were also honoured as they won the Team on the Year award for their victory over Australia in the Ashes series.
