Persides restructures to meet growing demand for its services

Success in product sales and enormous demand for its consultancy services has led Persides Limited to divide the company into two businesses to deal with its growing client base.

The Bristol-based electronics systems and software specialist, renowned for its revolutionary body-worn video system VEEcam ®, has seen unprecedented growth in business since the company was formed five years ago.

To deal with this success and strengthen its service to customers, Persides will now operate under two separate companies – Persides Consultancy Services Limited and Persides Limited.

Persides Consultancy Services Limited will continue to build on the former Persides Limited’s enviable reputation for being the partner of choice for UK and international clients working on highly sensitive and classified defence and aerospace contracts. The new company will provide a high-calibre specialist consultancy service in the areas of Through-Life Capability Management, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Supportability, Business Winning, Safety, Training and Modelling to new and existing clients including the MoD, prime contractors and overseas governments.

Persides Limited will concentrate on VEEcam ® sales, product development, new inventions and supplying Technology Development services. The unique VEEcam ®, which has been a huge hit with UK police forces, fire and rescue services and the military, is currently being rolled out in the US.

Persides’ Managing Director Mark Cook said: “We now have two distinct strands of business, both very different and growing rapidly. It made business sense to have two companies to cope with demand and make each one stronger with its own dedicated and specialist staff to provide clients with the top-level service they have come to expect from Persides. The move will allow for continued business growth and attract new investment over the coming years.”

The two new companies will be based at Persides’ Bristol headquarters and be promoted under the Persides brand. Each will operate under the same ownership and directors. The current general and administration department will support both businesses.
