VEEcam, the revolutionary body-worn video system which has proved a huge hit with British police, fire fighters and the Army, has arrived in the US.
Electronics systems and software specialist Persides has joined forces with leading American underwater equipment provider Hollis Oceanic to deliver the unique VEEcam – Video for Extreme Environments – to US police and emergency services.
Hollis Oceanic’s newly launched Hollis Commercial Division supplies hi-tech and specialist scuba diving equipment to the US government for its Harbour Patrol and marine units. The VEEcam has joined an exclusive list of top-of-the-range sophisticated diving equipment supplied by Hollis (www.hollisgear.com/commercial/).

Not only is the VEEcam waterproof and shock proof, this hands-free device is resistant to both high and low temperatures and can operate at depths of up to 100 metres.
