Manchester's CAST jewellery-making events where you can wine, dine and make a unique piece of jewellery

What happens when you combine an iconic 20 Stories menu, with a jewellery making process that hasn't changed in FOREVER?

Well, you’ll just have to take the plunge and pencil Monday, November 19th in your diary.

CAST Experience have partnered with top Manchester restaurant 20 Stories, and their Michelin-star Executive Chef Aiden Byrne, to combine an evening of fine dining with making your very own piece of unique jewellery.

Guided by the CAST team, guests can design and make bespoke jewellery pieces including rings, earrings, pendants, charms, cufflinks, or even something for the pooch, which are crafted in jewellers’ wax. They are then cast in solid gold, silver or platinum in the CAST workshop where each piece is finished by hand, individually packaged and returned to the customer’s specification within three weeks of the event.
Aiden Byrne is creating a mouth-watering three-course, locally sourced menu, to pair with the CAST jewellery making process. Food, drinks, spectacular skyline views, jewellery designed and made by you. Do Monday evenings in Manchester get any better?

Tickets for the 20 Stories event are priced at £90 which includes your meal, a drink on arrival and your item of jewellery cast in silver. But you need to book quickly as there are only a limited number of places available. For full details and to book go to:

CAST are hosting their second Manchester event on Tuesday December 4th, alongside the bustling, Northern Quarter based, Mackie Mayor.
Tickets, which include a welcome drink and of course what you create, cast in solid silver, are £60 per person. For those wanting to dine, Mackie Mayor house an eclectic roster of exciting food and drinks vendors. See:

James Cottingham, an ex-professional footballer who launched the ‘CAST Experience’ idea, says: “Ultimately, our aim is to change the way we make, and now shop jewellery. High-end, bespoke jewellery can now be designed and handmade by regular people - literally anyone — in exciting spaces, anywhere in the world, without the monster retail mark-ups. Winning, no?!”

CAST have now added November and December events alongside lead venues in Bristol, London, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Further CAST events will roll out across the UK next year. See the website for further details.

CAST have also released a range of ‘create at home’ jewellery making kits. The ingenious kits, the world’s first, allow people with zero experience or skill-level to create bespoke jewellery pieces, in their own time, anywhere in the world.

CAST ring, earring and pendant making kits can now be purchased direct online at www.experiencecast.com and at www.notonthehightstreet.com

The kits start at £90 and contain full operation instructions. Once CAST receive your wax, it is cast, hand-finished and returned to you within 21 days.
