Aspire Laboratories receive GMP accreditation
Aspire Laboratories have secured a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) License within five months of opening a laboratory at Londoneast-uk Business and Technical Park.
Aspire, an independent, contract analytical & microbiology testing organisation which services the Pharmaceutical, Specials, Cosmetics, Veterinary, Healthcare, & Medical devices industries, has customers around the world.
Aspire moved into The Cube, Londoneast-uks specialist science building earlier this year and the company has since been undergoing a series of customer audits — culminating last week in attaining their all-important GMP accreditation.
Sha Akhgar, Managing Director of Aspire, said being awarded the GMP compliance license was essential to their business and he thanked the team at Londoneast-uk for helping secure the accreditation. He said: I am very grateful for all your help and support. Thank you, without it we wouldnt have achieved what we did!
John Lewis, Managing Director of Londoneast-uk, said: I am delighted for Aspire. This achievement underpins that The Cube Research and Development facility is an ideal location where new and growing scientific businesses can quickly establish themselves. The Cube has been created from facilities previously owned by pharmaceutical company Sanofi who conducted so much major research and manufacturing on this site, so its nice to see exciting new scientific businesses operating so successfully from this location.
The Londoneast-uk team helped Aspire adapt lab space in The Cube, furnish the offices and laboratory and ensure a contamination-free environment in which scientists can work. They also helped Aspire to prepare for the various audits undertaken.
Aspire are continuously growing and are now looking for a Quality Control micro-analyst to join them. For more information on Aspire or to get in touch regarding job vacancies visit https://aspire-labs.co.uk/
Londoneast-uk Business and Technical Park is situated in Dagenham, East London, and is located in state-of-the-art scientific buildings and on land which was once a major manufacturing plant of global pharmaceutical company Sanofi. Now under the ownership of SOG Group — owner and operator of the award-winning The Heath Business and Technical Park in Cheshire — the highly specialised research & development and manufacturing buildings, which would cost tens of millions of pounds to replicate in todays market, have been rebranded under the banner of Londoneast-uk and have been transformed into a business and technical park to service London and the Home Counties.
Londoneast-uk operates as a sister park to The Heath in Runcorn which is regarded as one of the UKs leading independently-owned technology parks. For more information visit: www.londoneast-uk.com
