Neptunus named Best Temporary Structure Supplier at Festival Supplier Awards 2019

Neptunus has been named Best Temporary Structure Supplier at the Festival Supplier Awards 2019 – the second time that the company has won the title in two years.

Neptunus received the latest award in recognition of its role in two high-profile projects — the ‘Dinosaurs in the Wild’ experience in London and ‘Tomorrowland’ in Belgium which is one of the world’s largest, and most renowned, music festivals.

Announcing Neptunus as winners of the Best Temporary Structure category, the audience was told:
“The judges agreed that it was good to see suppliers coming up with bespoke solutions and innovative designs which are integral to the experience of a festival or event, and that the duration of contracts provides evidence of the expertise and quality of delivery that this business is rightfully proud of.”

The Festival Supplier Award accolade is the latest in a number of awards that Neptunus has picked up in recent years. In December the company was named the UK’s Best Enterprising Business in the 2018 SME National Business Awards while earlier last year Neptunus received the Best Temporary Structure Supplier Award at the 2018 Event Production Awards.

Neptunus Managing Director April Trasler says: “Awards such as this recognise the efforts of all of our highly experienced team — from the sales department who secure such important and diverse assignments; to the creative wizards of our design team who come up with stunning and innovative creations and to the technicians who build the finished products. There are so many people involved in a successful project, often many of them are unsung heroes working behind the scenes, and awards like this wouldn’t be possible without all of their sterling efforts.”

FSA Host Edith Bowman (pictured far right) presented the award to April who was joined on stage by directors Dorrie and Betty Eilers from the company’s HQ in Holland and members of the UK team including Tim Hall, Andy Coleman, Ben Keast, Rob Smith, Richard Treml, Matt Clark and Liz Lowther.
