Aspire Laboratories receive GMP accreditation

Aspire Laboratories have secured a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) License within five months of opening a laboratory at Londoneast-uk Business and Technical Park.

Aspire, an independent, contract analytical & microbiology testing organisation which services the Pharmaceutical, Specials, Cosmetics, Veterinary, Healthcare, & Medical devices industries, has customers around the world.

Aspire moved into The Cube, Londoneast-uk’s specialist science building earlier this year and the company has since been undergoing a series of customer audits — culminating last week in attaining their all-important GMP accreditation.

Sha Akhgar, Managing Director of Aspire, said being awarded the GMP compliance license was essential to their business and he thanked the team at Londoneast-uk for helping secure the accreditation. He said: “I am very grateful for all your help and support. Thank you, without it we wouldn’t have achieved what we did!”

The Londoneast-uk team helped Aspire adapt lab space in The Cube, furnish the offices and laboratory and ensure a contamination-free environment in which scientists can work. They also helped Aspire to prepare for the various audits undertaken.
