The countdown to Blenheim Palace Flower Show begins!

The countdown is on with just three weeks to go until the Blenheim Palace Flower Show erupts in a spectacular display of beautiful blooms, impeccable plants and horticultural expertise.

Celebrity gardeners Alan Titchmarsh, eight-time Chelsea Gold Medal winner Jim Buttress, and Nick Bailey, popular garden writer, broadcaster and head gardener at Chelsea Physic Garden, London, will all take part in Q & A sessions in the Talks Theatre in the Village Green area, while the event, which runs from 23-25, also showcases a record number of exhibitors in the Grand Floral Pavilion.

The National Dahlia Society, the Best in Show exhibitors from the National Flower Show at Hylands House, New Forest Hosta & Hermercallis, and the RHS Gold Medal winners from Chelsea Flower Show, Craig House Cacti, Roualeyn Fuchsias and, agapanthas specialists, Hoyland Plant Centre are just some of the highlights to be enjoyed here.

Our judges at Blenheim Palace are Jim Buttress & Tim Miles, with Gold, Silver Gilt, Silver, Bronze and Best in Show awards being presented by Alan Titchmarsh at noon on Friday, 23 June.

Also in the Grand Floral Pavilion, the Grow Zone Stage will feature a range of Royal Horticultural Society experts giving talks throughout the show.

If floral art is your interest The National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) will holding workshops and demonstrations within its Floral Pavilion, a creative hub for all things floral, design and flower arranging and the venue for a competitive floral art competition entitled ‘Blooms Beauty and Originality’, showcasing the talents of NAFAS members.

Outside, over 300 exhibitors specialising in home, garden, craft and gift products and accessories will fill the grounds at this stunning historical site in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.

A huge range of tempting foods will be available to visitors. Be sure to book in advance to take afternoon tea or a two course set menu lunch, or find refreshment on the day at Searcys Champagne Bar, Blenheim Palace’s Water Terrace Café, Oxfordshire Pantry or Pleasure Gardens Cafe.
