Alpha LSG and Thomas Cook Airlines recognises outstanding performance of Cabin Crew
Alpha LSG has helped Thomas Cook Airlines to achieve record-breaking Inflight Retail results for 2016 despite a challenging year for the industry, according to Alan Hayes, Alpha LSG's Inflight Retail and Managed Services Director.
Speaking at the culmination of a two-day OMG! Conference, Training and Awards event for Thomas Cook Mr Hayes said that despite an incredibly tough year incredible results had been achieved.
He said: The strength of our retail partnership is in the results we achieve in innovation, pro-activeness and driving change. To that end, I must pay tribute to everybody behind the scenes at both Thomas Cook and Alpha LSG in delivering such magnificent results. Mr Hayes added: The teamwork of the two companies was critical in ensuring our sales performance collectively continues to develop and go from strength to strength.
Uwe Balser, Thomas Cook Group Director of Cabin Crew, also praised the Inflight Retail performance. He told the audience: I am so proud to see our cabin crew from across our markets attend this event to learn the latest sales techniques, to learn more about our fabulous products and to have lots of fun in the process. We already have the best crew in the industry - OMG! makes them even better. Mr Basler also acknowledged the key role that Alpha LSG had played in the continuing success of the airlines commercial growth.
