Neptunus expands semi-permanent offering

Neptunus, the temporary structures specialist, has appointed Matt Clark as Project Manager for Temporary Buildings. One of the leading suppliers of structures to the events and exhibitions sectors, Neptunus plans to grow the commercial arm of its business where it provides semi-permanent space solutions for a multitude of uses.

April Trasler, Managing Director of Neptunus, says: “Temporary structure technology has evolved rapidly with the equipment we have developed for short-term rental assignments being adapted to offer longer-term space solutions to the wider business world. We’ve had significant success providing semi-permanent accommodation already and, through the appointment of Matt Clark, we intend to increase resources in this sector.”

Clark has more than 20 years’ experience in the temporary structures industry including a three year spell with Neptunus as a Project Manager from 2011 to 2014 when he coordinated the company’s London 2012 Olympics and 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games assignments. He has also worked on other high-profile events including the FIFA World Cup in South Africa and the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar.
Clark says: “Although my previous spell with the company was largely focused on events I did undertake projects including providing temporary buildings for school sports halls, insulated warehouses and temporary exhibition halls.

“The expertise and knowledge from our work at major events along with the amazing quality of the semi-permanent structures we can supply offers limitless opportunities for space solutions for the business world, no matter what the requirement may be. Our structures can be adapted to meet virtually any challenge and they can be built fast and efficiently, offering really cost-effective solutions.”

Trasler adds: “We continue to grow our semi-permanent business throughout Europe providing high-quality temporary buildings for sports halls, showrooms, retail outlets and education and feel the time is right to expand this side of our UK business by appointing Matt to this dedicated role.”

Clarke takes up his role at the end of March.
