Alpha LSG to develop its innovative OMG! Conference, Training and Awards event for Thomas Cook Airlines' Cabin Crews

Alpha LSG has pledged to make further investment over the next five years to re-inforce the support it gives to Thomas Cook Airlines' Cabin Crews to deliver the best possible results from Inflight Retail sales.

Alan Hayes, Alpha LSG’s In-Flight Retail & Managed Services Director, said: “Alpha LSG will invest even further over the next five years to give Cabin Crews the tools they need to maintain and build on the phenomenal service you provide onboard, day-in day-out, to your customers and reach new levels in terms of sales. And that investment — driving recognition for a job well-done is what OMG! is all about.

He was speaking in London at the culmination of a two-day OMG! Conference, Training and Awards event for Thomas Cook Airlines attended by 200 members of the group airlines’ Cabin Crews from the UK, Scandinavia, Germany and Belgium. They took part in a series of workshops and seminars geared to helping the airlines achieve even better commercial results and to improve customer service. The event culminated in an awards dinner to recognise the achievements of the best performing Cabin Crews.

Mr Hayes told guests: “The strength of our retail partnership is in the results we achieve, in innovation, pro-activeness and driving change.”

He said this was testament to the great teamwork behind the scenes of both Alpha LSG and Thomas Cook which had enabled sales performance to develop and go from strength to strength.

He added: “Of course, this work would come to nothing without you — the wonderful Cabin Crew at Thomas Cook Airlines. Your unique intensity on sales and service combined with an unrivalled focus on delivering amazing results is what has made this partnership the success that it is today.”
Maggie Kennedy, Thomas Cook Airlines’ Head of Cabin Crew UK and Group Head of Service and Sales Training, said: “What a fantastic couple of days. I have been totally blown away by the teamwork and enthusiasm from all of the guys here from all four of our airlines.

“This is such a great training event. It’s all about the way we sell and how we sell to provide the fantastic service that Thomas Cook Airlines passengers expect.”
