Manchester – May 26, 2015: Alpha LSG has been awarded a contract by Gate Retail Onboard (GRO) to supply inflight catering to more than 220 easyJet flights each week departing from Manchester and Liverpool airports

Alpha LSG is providing easyJet with buy-on-board sandwiches, crew food and a bar service adding up to 8,500 meals each week for passengers flying out of Manchester and 6,500 meals weekly for flights from Liverpool.

Inflight retail specialist GRO, which manages all easyJet’s inflight requirements across the airline’s European network, has appointed Alpha LSG to service 126 flights each week from Manchester Airport, flying to 18 destinations. In addition, Alpha LSG is catering 96 flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to 19 destinations. The new arrangement commenced on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

Sandra Griffiths, Interim Flight Services Manager at Manchester, said: “This is really great news for us.
