Neptunus scores again at Twickenham for England’s Six Nations Championship challenge

Northampton: February 16, 2015: Temporary structure specialist Neptunus has once again created a state-of-the-art hospitality village at Twickenham for Tigers Events, the company officially sanctioned by the Rugby Football Union to provide hospitality for the RBS Six Nations.

The stylish venue, constructed close to Twickenham Stadium in the grounds of the Army’s Royal School of Music at Kneller Hall, took a 30-strong crew of Neptunus technicians just ten days to build and can accommodate up to 700 guests. It was in action for Saturday’s (February 14) emphatic England victory over Italy and will also provide hospitality for England’s two remaining home games of the 2015 championship – against Scotland on March 14 and France on March 21.

Northamptonshire-based Neptunus supplied more than 3,500 square metres of temporary space to create an ultra-modern facility which includes restaurants, bars, reception area, kitchens and restrooms.

The modern and spacious hospitality village has been designed by Neptunus utilising the company’s Alure Globe structures which have sleek lines and distinctive curved roofs. As part of a turnkey solution for Tigers Events, one of the UK’s leading hospitality companies, Neptunus also provide temporary roadways to the location and internal features including furnishings, lighting, power, climate control and toilets.

Matt Poole, Managing Director of Leicestershire-based Tigers Events, said: “As official RFU Hospitality Licensee, we are dedicated to ensuring our discerning guests enjoy the ultimate rugby experience. Therefore, it is essential that they are entertained in a spacious and contemporary environment which Neptunus creates for us with their stylish structures.”

April Trasler, Managing Director for Neptunus, said: “We are delighted to be supplying our structures again for the RBS Six Nations at Twickenham. It’s a terrific tournament with Tigers Events providing the very highest-end rugby hospitality. The entire Neptunus team enjoys working alongside Tigers and helping them to develop and enhance their hospitality offering.”
