As temperatures rise, De Boer focuses on winter freeze!

With most Britons focusing on the likelihood of a long-overdue hot summer, the team at De Boer is grappling with a very different issue – the prospect of icy roads bringing the country to a halt!

As a leading supplier of semi-permanent commercial accommodation, the company has worked with regional and local governments across Europe in providing temporary storage facilities for much-needed winter salt supplies.

And with British authorities coming under attack each time a cold snap gridlocks our roads, De Boer’s highly flexible All Weather Hall structure is being seen as an ideal, cost-effective solution.

The modular product, whose galvanised steel frame offers a potential lifespan of more than 60 years, was originally designed to cope with the arduous demands of the Swedish winter.

Its durable design, high tensile strength and high wind- and snow-loading means it has subsequently proved popular for uses as diverse as storing salt and other minerals and for housing vehicles, plant and machinery. The structure offers a clearspan width of up to 50 metres and also allows the flexibility of optional features such as roller shutter doors, mechanical extraction systems and advanced lighting and security. It is also relocatable and reusable, ensuring even greater flexibility.
