Fiesta time for Neptunus as Ford launches its latest model in Spain

Neptunus has partnered with leading events and communications agency Mansfields Design for the European media launch of the all-new Ford Fiesta, held in Spain throughout July through a series of events staged within a bespoke temporary exhibition space.

Technicians from Neptunus took just two days to construct a 600 square metre exhibition venue in the grounds of the historic Castilla Termal Monastery of Valbuena Hotel and Spa in Castilla Y León which, combined with a series of on-road driving experiences, allowed more than 600 media and VIP guests in 24-hour rotations over a four-week period to learn all about this major new model. The launch of the all-new Fiesta is the largest media event in 2017 for motor giant Ford of Europe.

Neptunus’ Alure Globe temporary structure provided a blank canvas for the Mansfields Design team to create a highly experiential environment for Ford to showcase the next generation of its popular Fiesta range, which is the UK’s top-selling small car. The structure included a series of informal lounges for technical presentations, as well as several immersive “sensory zones” which allowed guests to explore their own senses and align their preferences with the different personalities within the new Fiesta range of models.

It is the second consecutive year that Neptunus has worked alongside Mansfields Design to supply structures to Ford of Europe for major product launches, and follows the success of the launch last year in Germany of the Ford Edge SUV and the company’s new cutting-edge EcoBlue diesel engine for the Ford Transit.

April Trasler, Neptunus Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to be collaborating again with Mansfields Design and to be invited to provide structures to another prestigious event for Ford of Europe — once again underpinning our growing reputation for being able to provide very high quality facilities and services for major product launches.”

Ivor Frankland, Creative Director of Mansfield Design said: “We welcomed the opportunity to work again with the Neptunus team to deliver another outstanding event for our clients at Ford of Europe. We needed a controlled space in which to deliver a number of different experiences for guests, and the Neptunus structure enabled us to do exactly that.”
