Wherever the location De Boer can provide the perfect venue for a memorable wedding. Clearspan spaces – customised with specialist flooring, linings, theming, lighting, staging and furniture – offer the ideal solution for luxurious weddings in idyllic settings from historic castles and stately homes to snow covered mountains. The flexibility and vast range of structures available from De Boer means you can even stage a stunning wedding reception from the comfort of your own back garden – provided it is large enough to accomodate your wedding guests.
The trademarks of style, quality and reliability have made De Boer the structure supplier of choice at high-profile international royal weddings and star-studded celebrity weddings. Clients requiring privacy for their functions can depend on De Boer to handle assignments confidentially and sensitively, with experienced build-crews able to work quickly and efficiently in secure locations.
From the small and intimate to large scale occasions De Boer has it covered, with the company supplying services to the ever-popular Asian wedding market, which traditionally involves functions where the guest list can run in to several thousand people.
Easy-to-build, modular structures can be erected in virtually any location – whether adjoining a permanent building, near to existing facilities or as a stand-alone venue complete with dining, entertainment, reception, kitchen and cloakroom areas.
A growing number of historic buildings have become the backdrop for weddings – leading to a surge in demand for structures from De Boer. The company has provided facilities at a number of castle settings in the United Kingdom — including a magnificent Hindu wedding ceremony for 850 guests in the grounds of Warwick Castle.
Situated below the castle’s Peacock Garden and overlooking a lake, event design & management specialists DbZ Events Boutique chose this spectacular location for the function. De Boer supplied two 30-metre Jumbo Structures — one in which the wedding ceremony took place and the other for a lavish reception.
For a recent two-day Asian wedding reception at a stunning Palladian Mansion set in 300 acres of parkland within 20 miles of London, De Boer was asked to provide a marquee for guests as the numbers exceeded the limit that could be catered for inside the magnificent house. The marquee needed to provide a fabulous space for dining and dancing as well as cooking and kitchen facilities and restrooms.
The marquee encompassed the whole of the front portico, creating a spectacular access via the double staircase, which itself made a stunning backdrop.
De Boer also provided a structure for a three-day Asian wedding celebration for 800 guests in the grounds of at a private house on the Wentworth Estate in Berkshire which required the interior linings of the structure to be transformed for three separate functions over the three days – a cocktail party, a Sangeet party and then for the traditional Sikh wedding.
Both were prestigious assignments for DbZ Events Boutique and its creative division, Dream Occasions, which has developed a successful relationship with De Boer spanning more than a decade.
Zibbi Khan, Creative Director of Dream Occasions, says: “We provide a bespoke service for our clients so every one of our weddings is a personal and unique event. We are passionate about creativity and De Boer is able to supply the level of service and diverse range of high quality structures to complement our efforts, ensuring a perfect occasion for the bride and groom on the most important day of their lives.”
On the international stage De Boer has played a key role in supplying facilities to royal weddings, undertaking its first royal assignment in Amsterdam a decade ago for the wedding of Prince Willem Alexander of Orange and Princess Maxima. More recently the company has provided facilities for the Abu Dhabi Royal Family.
De Boer has also provided wedding structures at the spectacular Highclere Castle – setting for the award-winning ITV drama Downton Abbey – for the wedding of a top premiership footballer.
Many of these high-profile weddings are cloaked in secrecy to avoid unwanted media attention and De Boer can be relied upon to handle arrangements with complete discretion working on a need-to-know basis.
No challenge is too daunting. De Boer has even created a wedding facility high up in the snow-capped mountains of Austria where the wedding guests were flown up to the venue by helicopters!
De Boer prides itself in its ability to meet any challenge and to tailor temporary structures to meet specific requirements of the client. De Boer’s experienced build-crew is also sensitive to the fact that they are often building large structures within the pristine grounds of magnificent country estates where special care must be taken to avoid damaging the landscape.
Temporary structures offer maximum flexibility for weddings to be celebrated in any location while providing a blank canvas for wedding planners to create incredible themes without the restrictions often placed on them in a permanent building.
And if your wedding is set in a spectacular permanent building but you require more space for your guests to celebrate, De Boer can provide the perfect solution with a range of more than 70 structures to choose from.
